After yet another International break which Nottingham Forest went into on a positive note, eyes will be focused on the City Ground this weekend, as the league pacesetters and lets be honest, surprise package this championship season, Burnley come to town ....They arrive with a fantastic run of form and the knowledge they have beaten the reds this season ,albeit in the league cup, but a win is a win and Sean Dyche and his clarets will be full of confidence ahead of what surely is the football league shows feature game this Saturday?(unless manish gets his way)
trouble is which forest are going to turn up this weekend ? after our 2 disappointing displays prior to the fantastic win against our local foes Leicester, this campaign is starting to frustrate most red supporters as our consistency is letting us down , With the well documented injuries to Andy Reid and David Vaughan this could put the ball firmly back into the Burnley court for a away win especially as Danny Ings is on fire even scoring twice for the U21s this week .So i think this match is going to be pivotal in shaping our build up to the festive season where matches will be coming thick and fast, meaning if we fail win on Saturday and to come out of the upcoming season of goodwill in at least some kind of touching distance to this weekends opponents then there will be another nearly season shaping up!! remember a win on Saturday and we will be 5 points adrift of top spot...lose and its 11 ,that's alot of ground to catch up.. so its vital to harness the euphoria of the king prawn win and carry it on for as long as possible after all we have the squad . Sean dyche has been quoted as saying we will go to play forest not even thinking about promotion ! my feeling is these wise words should be written down and given to Billy Davies we've had the promotion chip on our shoulder even before a ball was kicked in early August...lets lose the chip and focus on NOW its November for christs sake.
Good luck on Saturday to Carl Froch also ..COYR #Frocharmy please click the link
