As we sit here today from our lofty position at the top of the premier lge, I cant help but laugh at how people thought our new manager ( Billy Davies ) 1o years ago would only last for the remainder of the 2012/13 season , As you all know not only did he win all his remaining 15 matches beginning with bolton so many moons ago , Taking us up from the Championship as runners up to Cardiff city, He went on to win back to back premier league titles and finally lifted the Champions league trophy in the 2014/15 season. If forest were to win this seasons premier league it would give Sir William Macintosh Davies a 6th premier league winners medal , something his great adversary Sir Alex Ferguson will tip his hat to after his Nottingham forest side finally avenged a 1-8 defeat by Manchester utd in the 1998/9 season , beating his current side 8-1 at the city ground last saturday with his main striker the England number 9 and son of the legendary sir David Beckham ..Brooklyn Beckham (23 ) scoring all 8 goals in what will be recollected as one of the best displays of football on trentside. The owner of Nottingham forest , Mr Fawaz Al Hasawi ( obe ,cbe,mbe,gece ) told the Nottingham Evening Post ‟cant believe everyone doubted me” especially after my uncle purchased non league derby county saving them from administration from the blue square premier league, .........Glyn wake up its time for work !!!!
