same old reds...

Last night the mighty reds got which to a neutral observer was a good point against the runaway leaders of the championship , Leicester city came to Nottingham knowing they had no pressure due to their impressive form which has seen them stay 10 points above the 3rd placed team Derby county. But yet again it was more 2 points lost than a point gained for Billy Davies hard working team , after conceding a sloppy goal the reds did what they do best this season ..come straight  back with guns blazing and not only level the score but take a lead through the magnificent Jamie patterson and the reliable reidy with a well taken penalty ,this should have also been rewarded with the sending off of our very own secret  agent ...wes morgan , something billy mentioned to the referee at half time in his own native tongue,  which resulted in another meeting in the near future with the football league panel,!!!!
Yet we did get a reward from the referee in the 2nd half when another ex red paul koncheskey decided to leave the game early with a innocuous challenge on jamie mackie. This should have been the springboard for a rout in favour of the Garibaldi red , but to the frustration of the near 25k crowd forest gave the foxes a way back into a game which should have been closed .this came in the form of a penalty which was taken by the oldest player ever to represent the foxes Kevin (Ive played for everyone Phillips) , the normally reliant scorer saw his effort saved brilliantly by karl Darlow but Mahrez was first to respond thus making the score 2 apiece .... The groans of we knew it was coming could be heard all around the city ground and from all reds listening on forest world & five live extra , yet again a win was denied through our lack of being able to finish teams off, even after darlows great save we were to slow and Leicester capitalised. But remember the foxes arnt top of the championship for being lucky they are most probably ,albeit said through gritted teeth the best team in the league , in fact we are were they were last season in the rebuilding process and as fawaz and BD have stated not the finished article. But its still so frustrating when victory is pulled so regularly ... we've nearly won so many times we could get promotion to the premature lge.
So onwards we go to dingle land on Saturday and in my view a bigger game than Leicester if we can win that then the second spot could be within our grasp , that is if them Woolley backed buggers down the road realise there not invited on this trip to the holy grail . So lets hope billy gets some of the walking wounded back and available for selection at turf moor in what will be another invasion by the impressive red army that swells the coffers of most championship clubs , Stick with the plan and support as we have done then it will all come together ....after all its the  forest boys making all the noise.
